While I enquired about Dzire and Ertiga, we ended up opting for Dzire as we were only 2 pax. To my surprise, an Ertiga showed up for pick-up. I didn’t point out the mistake as I was comfortable with the price difference. Yogesh bhai was a patient and a splendid driver. He drove sedately at 80kmph allowing us to snooze in the back. At the end of the trip as I made the payment as per charges for Ertiga, Yogesh bhai returned the excess as Hemang bhai and I had agreed upon the Dzire for my trip.

Travelled to dwarka, somnath and sasan gir from 11th April 24 to 14th April 24 with driver Smit Bhai who was Very polite  discipled    helpful and had good knowledge about the geography and  places of tourist interest. To summarise our experience: Amazing service....well-maintained Ertiga....fantastic, knowledgeable, family friendly driver. Efficient handling by owner, Hemang bhai.

Trip details: Day-1....Pick-up from Rajkot Hirasar Airport at 17:45 p.m....drive to Dwarka. Days-2 & 3....visit to Beyt Dwarka, temples and sight-seeing in Dwarka. Day-4: Start for Somnath in the morning....reach place of stay in Gir Forest by late afternoon. Day-5: Drop back at Rajkot

Details: After doing some research online, we decided to book for our trip with Rajkot Taxi one month ahead of our travel dates. Once contact via whatsapp was established, I was asked to firm up the booking with Rs.1000 advance for Ertiga model. Hemang bhai, the owner, confirmed the booking immediately. On the day of our travel, vehicle and driver details were shared with me. This set to rest all my apprehensions about vehicle availability as our trip was coinciding with Holi festival. Even while we were yet to board the flight to Rajkot, the driver (Deepak Joshi bhai) called & informed he will be waiting for us even before our landing time at Rajkot airport. As promised he was there at the airport & we started the long drive to Dwarka from there. From then on till the 5th & final day of dropping us back in Rajkot, it was a very smooth, enjoyable trip for us in the well maintained vehicle. Deepak bhai was a very friendly & excellent driver, with a pleasant demeanour. What we felt most happy about him was that he had absolutely no vices such as chewing tobacco/paan, smoking etc. Deepak bhai was neatly dressed & gentlemanly in behavior. He was quite knowledegeable & also doubled up as our local guide if required. At all places where we had booked accommodation, he was given free dormitory accommodation too by the hotel and he did not have complaints about it. He was probably missing spending time with his family on Holi day, but he did not show this externally.
On our final leg of the drive from Gir forest to Rajkot, he was telling that his uncle's town called Jetpur enroute has some famous textile works that weave good quality pure cotton batik churidhar material for bulk sale. We asked him to take us to one such works. The batik dress materials they showed us were very nice and we purchased a few.
Throughout the trip Deepak bhai recommended & accompanied us to the best restaurants for authentic Gujarati food and we never got disappointed with the choice of the place.
